Zimpler, a provider of fintech payment solutions, received a directive on July 6 to cease offering payment services containing BankID to iGaming businesses that accept Swedish players without a Swedish license. The Swedish Gambling Authority issued the directive, and it must be followed by no later than July 31. The business, however, has decided to challenge the judgment. The choice, in the company's opinion, was poorly intended and made with serious ramifications.
