Better Collective enters the Danish market with acquisition

With this acquisition, Better Collective has significantly increased the size of its audience and strengthened its position in the Danish sports media industry.

The total purchase price for the acquisition is €6.5 million and will be paid in three installments. Better Collective plans to pay the deal with cash and anticipates a post-synergy multiple of under 5x for 2024. The financial objectives for 2023 after the acquisition remain the same.

Tipsbladet, founded in 1948, is the oldest football publication in the Nordic region.

The acquisition is poised to unlock fresh avenues for Better Collective, enabling them to offer invaluable services and resources to Danish bettors. Through this strategic move, they are solidifying their position as an influential player in the global arena.

6.5 million Euros is not a small amount to pay for this company. I hope the purchase works out for Better Collective and helps them make more money in Denmark. It can be risky to buy another business, so I'm curious to see if owning Tipsbladet will help them a lot or not. Only time will tell if it was worth that price.
