Brazilian Football Confederation unveils new 2024 betting marketing rules

The Brazilian Football Confederation recently unveiled new compliance guidelines to regulate sports betting marketing across all of its competitions and events, which is the latest move to fortify the Brazilian market's regulatory dawn.

Now that the Bill has reached its final stages of implementation, the Ministry of Finance will handle everything through the Prizes and Betting Secretariat, a government agency that will act as the betting market's regulatory body.

Going back to the football body's regulations, they expressly state that any unlicensed operators are not permitted to advertise in compliance with the bill.
