California Governor Gavin Newsom Says No to Proposition 27

Much has been said about sport betting in California this year but what appear to be certain is that it's unlikely for the residents of the state to support the proposals calling for the legalization of the activity. In that line of thought, a new report reveals that California Governor Gavin Newsom has opposes one of the sports betting proposals that will be up for voting this November.

Governor Newsom opposed Proposition 27, saying it's bad for the state, a new report released by politico reveals. In addition, the Governor explained that the proposal will likely negatively impact the state's Indian Tribes. At the same time, Governor Newsom predicted that Proposition 27 may increase the risks of underage gambling and funnel billion of dollars from California into the hands of organization out of state.
 
Are you saying sport betting is not allowed in California?. It is bad. Notwithstanding the governor's position on this, the legislators should discuss this proposition 27 before it becomes a law.
 
Let those that have ears hear that proposition 27 is not as bad as proclaimed. Legalizing betting in California does not in any way stop the state government from executing their civic responsibility. If State government perform his duties, it's citizens especially the underage would not opted for gambling as an alternative source of income.
 
Immediately betting is legalized, you cannot have total control over the people again. If we are not lying to ourselves, with respect to people that winning very big from betting, betting still has many negative effect in the life of the people. Main reason you will notice most arab countries down not allow gambling in their country
