there was a particular time I was having a discussion with my friend and I told him that I don't believe if a gambler can ever change excessively when they are making consistent income and he said no that they can change.

One of the questions I want to ask you guys over here is that can a gambler change? if you have any experience about this question you can share them and I'll be gladly to read them in the comment section.

Seriously I think that a gambler can change but some time he need the help of a councellor and I also think that he need to decipline his self.

Self decipline also matters alot when you can decipline yourself on certain aspect of things I beleive that you can stop that thing so self decipline matters alot

I believe this can be very difficult to achieve by self. A gamble at that can change if they access the support of all the people that helps them to replace the gamble with something more productive that makes them more exciting.

Yes it is possible for a gambler to change, not just because he decided to, their are lot of reasons that can Make a person to change, it is either what he/she is doing does not favours them so they will change in other to avoid misunderstanding and putting them self Into an unwanted situation

I think it is very easy for occasional gamblers to change as you can discipline yourself or control yourself not to gamble the little you have away but for the addicts like my cousin I really doubt it is that easy. They are some people that are far gone into it that they can't stay without gambling.

I believe that a gambler can change their habits, without a shadow of a doubt. They can be more responsible and be more financially aware of the consequences of their activities in addition

A lot of gamblers can change. Would you believe that there are some gamblers who are adducted to gambling but they find it hard to stop because they are just addicted to it.
People like that need to be under someone's care so that their gambling activities will be monitored.
The change from a regular gambler to a more cultured one can become a hassle, and it is not simple by any stretch of the imagination. An alteration in their mindset could occur though, provided that they are ready to embrace it

That's right
It depends on their mindset.
They should ask themselves if truly they want to change or not.
If a gambler us willing to change, he will achieve that no matter how hard it seems to be. It depends on what they have on their mind.
If a gambling addict is determined to desist from gambling activities, they will pull out all the stops to abstain from it due to their sheer single mindedness. It does help to have someone beside to guide the addict back to normality too
