Hearts have won four and drawn four games against Aberdeen at home since 2017, keeping their home winning streak intact. They now on a 7-game winning streak both at home and away, and only Rangers and Celtic have managed to beat them at home this season. Aberdeen has conceded two goals or more in each of their last four road losses, including four against Rangers and three at St. Mirren. They have only triumphed on the road twice so far, 2-1 at Motherwell, the league's worst home team, and by scores of 1-0 and 1-0 respectively against St. Johnstone. On Friday night, Hearts' newest player and Bournemouth loanee James Hill made a lasting impression.
