Chilean casinos generate less revenue in January monthly report

In January, Chile's casinos took in £39.5 million in gross gaming revenue, an 8.2 percent decrease from the previous year.

The regulator also revealed that £14.1 million in taxes were collected from casinos during the month.

This resulted in a decrease of 6.7% on an annual basis.

The remaining £2.2 million was used to fund Chile's general budget through the gaming hall admission tax.
