Connecticut legislators hope to reverse ban on college prop betting

The state's sports betting legislation may be changed by lawmakers in Connecticut.

After the men's and women's basketball teams at the University of Connecticut recently enjoyed success, lawmakers in the Constitution State are starting to take steps toward allowing sports betting on in-state universities.

The state should act to amend the current gaming law, which forbids betting on in-state colleges and college player props, in light of the success of UConn's athletic programs. There are those who oppose college-focused wagering, despite the teams' achievements and demands for change.

These type of betting options are always popular and are enjoyed by the people mostly and therefore if the Ban is actually lifted on such options the players will be able to allow gambling facilities in a much convenient way by staking on their favourite sports in gambling activities
