D.C.'s problematic sports gambling software will be replaced this spring by FanDuel.

Washington, D.C. is changing its sports betting app from GambetDC to FanDuel because GambetDC had lots of problems like bad odds and technical issues.

FanDuel promises to bring in more money for the city. They will pay the city $45 million over five years and cover operating costs.

FanDuel is popular in many states, which is good news for D.C. residents who want better options for betting.
