Delaware Park Casino & Racing donates $10,000 to Meals on Wheels

This is the first presentation of a monetary donation from a new community initiative that will highlight a different organization every month.

In an effort to help this demographic, Delaware Park Casino & Racing recently installed donation boxes within their establishment to gather any unused gift cards from patrons.

Meals on Wheels Delaware wants to increase awareness, funds, and other resources to support meal delivery programs for seniors who are housebound in the Mid-Atlantic state.

I believe 2019, Delaware Park donated $10,000 to Meals on Wheels Delaware. The donation was collected from the proceeds of their annual Hops for Heroes event, which benefited veterans and their families. Meals on Wheels is a non-profit organization
