On one hand, the growth of the gambling industry can create new jobs in a variety of fields such as casino operations, marketing, and security. These jobs can have a positive impact on local economies and can help to decrease unemployment rates.

On the other hand, excessive gambling can lead to financial problems for individuals and families, which can ultimately lead to job loss. Additionally, the rise of online gambling has led to an increase in the number of people gambling from home, which means they may not have to leave their home to gamble and the impact on employment may be minimal.

Moreover, some studies suggest that the presence of gambling in an area can lead to an increase in crime, which can have a negative impact on both employment and the overall economy.

It's important to note that the impact of gambling on unemployment rates can vary depending on a variety of factors, such as the location, type of gambling, and how well the industry is regulated.

Overall, it's important for governments and local communities to carefully consider the potential effects of gambling on unemployment rates and to implement policies and regulations that can help to mitigate any negative effects.

Gambling has power to generate employment but not for the gamblers. There are many people that are working at the betting houses. All these people are what I can see as legitimate beneficiary of employment.

Gambling is definitely an indirect effect of unemployment on the part of the youth. The lack of employment opportunities in the country is glaring, and people would therefore be inclined to venture into gambling

T
That's true
It will only generate employment for people who wish to work at betting shops. Some people are also working in the betting company itself so I can say that it has reduced the level of unemployment in one way or the other.
Those are the beneficiaries of casino sites because they have been employed and are able to make a living for themselves. On some level, it has toned down the unemployment rate in the country

Gambling reduce unemployment rate at some point, because every gambling platform employed agents that work for them in different locations and they are been payed well, so they reduce unemployment at some point

Exactly
It depends on the rate at which people gamble in the country and it also depends on how well the government interferes.
There is a way that the government will interfere that it will not affect the economy so much.
I agree with your sentiment. The government must be more focused on seeking out the casinos and sites that are engaging in illegal gambling activities. They can establish active and working task forces to combat this canker

And we should make sure that the government officials are the ones that we can trust. There are a lot of government officials out there that collects bribe and they will let your criminal activities slide. It is not good like that
In this part of the world, bribery and corruption are rife, and legitimate government officials who dictate by the letter of the law are in the extreme minority, if I am being totally honest with you

I know that you are being honest. I am in that part of the world whereby corruption is part of the norms here and it is not supposed to be so but I dont think there is any choice we have or anything that we can do.
That is the problem. The practices involving this canker have become so normalized that it has almost been low key instituted as part of our culture, which is regrettable. It occurs from the top to the bottom

The
And this is not making the masses report the gambling scams cases to the government because we know that there is nothing they will do about it. They will just collect bribes from the gambling platform and give us false hopes.

Gambling industry itself is creating more employment opportunity for people but do you even think those industries can employ people that are gamblers to work for them. In general, I think gambling is increasing unemployment rate

I believe that gambling is the result of unemployment more than anything. It does create employment for a select group of people but overall, the unemployment rate of most gamblers is staggering, to be fair.

Gambling obviously increase unemployment rate by providing jobs for the jobless, in my country the new and old gambling platforms are recruiting people who are interested in working online for them and they're earning good salary.

Gambling actually reduces the number of unemployment in the country. Many people that suppose to be jobless as a result of unemployment Are fully engaged in gambling. You know the number of both direct and indirect workers that are deriving their incomes from gambling platforms. If not gambling, many people would have opted into crimes on order to survive.
