Donking is a betting strategy in 2-7 Single Draw where you bet when statistically you have a low chance of winning to trick opponent. Wait till last round of betting before the draw. It is now when hands are hardest to accurately value. Open bet with average strength hands players not likely call. This will prompt loose players to call attempting to catch their draw. You hopefully win initial bet before draw. If opponent caught cards on draw, fold and lose minimally instead of calling all bets with now poor hand. Donking is annoying but can be profitable when players are lured by initial half-pot bet and don't consider drawn hands. Proceed with caution. Good luck at the tables, my friend.
