Does starting hand matter in 2-7 single-draw poker? In my experience as a poker player, high card strategy is overrated in this game. Beginners focus too much on the perceived strength of their initial cards rather than playing the odds and reading other players. Simply drawing to the most balanced hand, one with the most options to create different combinations, is a better strategy than obsessing over grabbing the highest possible cards from the outset. Thoughts?
