Father and daughter pushed rule change after stealing $12.5 million lottery ticket from a relative's shop.

The regulations of the game were altered as a result of a father and daughter stealing a $12.5 million lottery ticket from a relative's store.

JunChung and his daughter Kathleen participated in a scheme to rob his brother Kenneth's store, Variety Plus, in Burlington, Canada, of the lottery jackpot, which was worth $12.5 million.

The Toronto father, 71, was subsequently given a seven-year prison term, while his 39-year-old daughter received a four-year sentence.
