GambleAware sees improvements in gambling harm awareness

A new independent evaluation report on the first year of the new Community Resilience Fund has been released by GambleAware, a grant-making organization supported by the gaming industry. In order to provide funding to providers who had not previously received funds from GambleAware, the fund was established as a novel method of commissioning awareness and support services.

People from marginalized and ethnic minority groups, as well as those living in poverty and high-deprivation areas, were included in the focus. Among the organizations that received funding are nonprofits that assist the homeless and organizations founded by professional sports teams.
