GamCare calls for restriction on gambling payments from bank accounts

In order to stop payments for gambling from business accounts, GamCare has urged banks to employ blocking tools. The charity, which oversees the national gambling helpline for the UK, issued a warning after observing instances in which business accounts were used to pay for gambling, sometimes resulting in sizable losses.

It mentioned the use of blocking tools for gambling payments by a few large banks and financial institutions.
