Help requests for gambling-related concerns are at an all-time high in the United Kingdom.

The UK-based charity, GamCare, has recently published a report that unveils a striking rise in the number of individuals seeking assistance for gambling-related concerns. The charity's annual report discloses a surge in the volume of calls and online chats received and conducted by the National Gambling Helpline.

Evidently, this year's figures have reached an unprecedented level since the launch of the service, with a total of 44,049 interactions, representing a notable 4.7% increase compared to the previous year's record of 42,070 calls, as documented by GamCare.

The report also incorporates data from the European Gaming & Betting Association of 2022, which emphasizes that a substantial 65% of the UK's gambling market revenue originates from online gambling activities.
