Tony Santo, the 61-year-old chief executive officer of Gateway Casinos, passed away, the Canadian gambling business announced on Friday. Earlier this year, a ransomware attack on Gateway Casinos forced the company to temporarily close all 14 casinos in Ontario. Gateway abruptly shut down its Ontario gaming floors in the middle of April after discovering that a hack had successfully breached its network, according to the department of information technology at Gateway.
