Am I becoming complacent at the tables? After years of big wins and losses, it's easy to grow lackadaisical. I know the games inside and out, but that comfort can breed poor judgment.
Close calls and bad bets should still give my heart a jolt, not elicit a yawn. If money won or lost fails to provoke any excitement or sting, time may have dulled my instincts. Complacency is the casino's marketer's dream - now an unthinking customer, easily parted from money I can ill afford to lose. I must remember each hand is a new battle. Ok
