How can I tell if I'm seeing too many or too few flops?

I can discern when one is being too loose or too tight with their play. Witnessing too many flops with marginal starting hands indicates a reckless betting strategy. While getting more money into the pot may seem favorable, the reality is poor position and weak hole cards seldom improve so greatly.

Conversely, folding too frequently denies opportunities to win bigger pots by improving one's hand through community cards. There is a time and place for restraint, but a poker game is not won by what one refuses to bet. Finding the correct balance of risk and reward based on position, opponents, and statistics is the hallmark of a skilled player.

Each hand provides a chance to make a small gain or prevent a small loss; only by seizing the majority do championships get won. So wager when the odds are in your favor, but do not be afraid to stay at the table when probabilities slightly favor the house. With experience comes the keen instinct for profitable plays.
