An addiction is a kind of "disease" that leads one to unable to stop consuming a certain kind of substance or leading to a condition where a person is unable to control a certain kind of behaviour. Some studies have shown that all addictions might have the same root in the brain. This may help us to stop addictions. However, when it comes to gambling addiction, do you think that it is different from other addictions or not?

I think that gambling addiction is unique because it fully comes to life when one is in a casino and opens a gambling site. Gambling compulsively should not be condoned by any well meaning member of the society

I think they are of the same thing. Addiction in gambling will make you focus in gambling and addiction in other things will make you focus too much in those things too. The fact s addiction in anything is not good

Your point is valid. Too much of everything is not ideal, and this is exactly what addiction promotes. An addiction to gambling in particular does not help the gambler in any way by taking center stage in their life. This can be curbed by relieving your focus so much on that activity, to be frank.

Great post; addiction is definitely a complex topic. I agree that many addictions seem to share a common root in the brain, which could help develop effective treatments. As for gambling addiction, I think it's a little different from substance addiction because there's no physical substance involved. However, compulsive behavior and loss of control are similar, so I do think it falls under the addiction umbrella.

Speaking of treatment, if anyone is struggling with addiction and looking for help, check out rehab facilities in Essex. They offer a range of programs and support services to help people overcome addiction and get back on track.

Gambling addiction is a very serious issues among gamblers and as a responsible gambler should not practice gambling addiction, when you notice that you're addicted to gambling you can take break and come back later to bet.
