One important adjustment I make is changing my flop betting when the board pairs, especially with high cards. Calling frequently on the flop with overpairs and raising my made hands more aggressively are key. Pairs are more likely, straight and flush draws become more plausible, and the potential for boats and full houses rises. Loose and aggressive players will often continue with middle pair so I check/call or check/raise more until the turn. Making these adjustments on paired, high card boards has helped my win rate when the community cards develop adversely. How do you adjust your flop play when mounting opponents on paired, high kicker boards?
