I was having a discussion with one of my friends and I let him know that object poverty is one of the reason why some people are engaging in gambling. My friend on the other and he saying that gambling is the cause of poverty in the life of people and people should do away from it. we keep taking this argument front and back because we'll both have our reasons and we are ready to stick by it. I want to ask that is gambling a cause of poverty?

If you are not mindful with the way you are playing gamble, it may lead too early stage of poverty so it is not a good idea to gamble when you are not financially stable, it is an irresponsible act to gamble always when you know that you have a lot to do with money, so I will advise any responsible person out there should gamble wisely
Gambling can cause poverty if you're too greedy and dont apply sense in the game of betting, many rich people are already back to trenches due to greediness they just want to make it quick in the system, the betting system is a slow and steady systems if yiu really want to make it big

Gambling is not a source of poverty but gambling can cause poverty if care is not taken. Gambling need to be done with caution because it is an activity that need a lot of plan and you must plan very well so that you don't make costly mistakes.

It is kind of poverty just because the gambling let you not spending for essential needs and spend for gambling purpose this is why it is a cause of poverty for many people avoiding necessaries expenses and spend for gambling purposes.

Will you say this if the person is winning always? Do you even know that betting has made some people to be extremely rich. Gambling is like a platform, it may cause poverty if we keep on losing, and we don't caution ourselves.

Sure it will not be the case if you are winning in gambling but it will be the case if your deposits is higher from your cash out and losing funds more than winning bet, so it has both sides.
It is the cause of poverty in most people to be very unnecessary and those who are addicted to it. You see one thing most people like is financial literacy. on the basis of financial literacy is to differentiate between asset and liability. But people like this usually have a get-rich-quick mindset and you can't help them.
Excessive gambling has the ability to lose someone into abject poverty. if the money you are supposed to use for investment and to build business on the part-time goes into gambling the person will not be able to make money consistently and this will bring about poverty.
For someone like me I dont think that gambling is the cause of poverty,really serious I beleive that when you gamble is your own choice even if you chose to gamble with all your money is no body issue but I beleive that if you gamble with all your money this might cause you to loss and become poor so I think that gambling can cause or lead to poverty
It is possible for someone to become quarrel when they are putting all their life savings on gambling and betting. the right thing a person can do with his or her money is to invest in something they have control over that brings certain return on investment.
