Italian regulator files documentation to define new gambling concessions

New online gambling concessions must adhere to regulations outlined in documentation submitted by Italy's gambling regulator, the Customs and Monopolies Agency. After the framework was published in the parliamentary gazette in April, the supporting documentation was sent to the Treasury.

In addition to paying 3% of annual gross gaming revenue after taxes, operators must pay a licence fee that is 35 times greater than the €200,000 fee that was introduced in 2018.
