Maryland iGaming shunned in 2024 after senate fails to approve proposal

The General Assembly's upper chamber has killed the Maryland iGaming bill that was approved by the state House of Delegates last month.

The state representative thought that playing online casino games could increase state revenue, as did other proponents of iGaming.

Up to three iGaming platforms could have partnered with the state's casinos under the proposed legislation. Two bingo halls and four off-track betting establishments in Maryland would have been eligible for one skin.

These type of issues and cases are always a topic of debate and therefore most of the time they take and require good amount of time before they are approved the approval of most of the members business are needed for the approval of the bill actually and when the number of votes are not delivered then definitely such things can actually become delayed indeed
