Minnesota governor plans to approve betting bill at the start of the 2024 session

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz supports legalizing sports betting if lawmakers pass legislation during the 2024 session.

Senate Bill 3803, proposed by Representative Jeremy Miller, allows Native American tribes, racetracks, and teams to offer in-person wagering.

The bill proposes a state commissioner to oversee betting, issuing licenses to operators, platform providers, and suppliers.
