The Heat must determine whether or not to place their best defender on the two star players of the other team in this game, but doing so would leave them vulnerable to the other player. Miami doesn't have a lot of good shutdown wing defenders. Miami's defensive flaws have been exposed by the Bulls this season, who have shot the ball with lightning speed. The Bulls' defense at the point guard position has also been stabilized by the addition of a top defender. The Heat appeared to be an offensively deficient squad on Tuesday night that might be easily exposed on the perimeter. Chicago has the means to retaliate against Miami in that way. Don't undervalue how well the away team is performing at the moment, either.
