However this question might look funny, but it is a question that should be given sober reflection. The general views I'm sure people would give is that parent should not encourage his ward at all to engage in gambling. What I want people to realize is that children of nowadays are so discreet in their activities unlike in the past that parent knew what their children could do or not. Nowadays, children hide including their feelings to their parent but opened up to their confidant outside who may wrongly misguided them. If parent wholesomely condemned gambling abd these children are now secretly doing it without the knowledge of their parent. Without proper guidance, they may fall into victims and eventually become burdened liability to their parents. That is why parent has important role in supporting any legal activities his ward is engaging with and after that, used his parental experience to guide and monitor such ward before he fall into victim.

I understand your point of view, but it is important to note that gambling, even if legal, can be addictive and have negative consequences on a person's financial, emotional, and mental well-being. As a parent, it is important to educate your child about the risks involved in gambling and to discourage any behavior that could potentially harm them.

Encouraging your child to engage in gambling could also send a message that gambling is an acceptable way to make money, which is not always the case. It is important to teach your child the value of hard work, education, and responsible financial management instead of relying on chance.

Furthermore, if your child is engaging in gambling without your knowledge, it is important to have an open and honest relationship with them to build trust and facilitate communication. Keeping a close eye on your child's behavior and monitoring their activities can also help prevent them from falling into harmful behaviors.

Overall, as a parent, your role is to guide and support your child while also being mindful of their safety and well-being. It is important to have a constructive conversation with your child about the risks and consequences of gambling, and to encourage them to make responsible and informed decisions.

Parent should play their own part in ensuring that their children do not participate in Gambling at a very young age because it can lead to gambling addiction and it can affect that child when there are young.

No matter the hardship, parents should not allow their children to involve in betting and gambling. There are different ways by which parents can prevent their children from engaging in betting and gambling. This will prevent addiction of gamblers.

No parent would ever want his wards to engage in betting or gambling but the economic situation coupled with the peer influence had caused most wards in the acts without the knowledge of their parents. Their parents are kept in darkness until when they become victims of addiction as a result of lack of adequate guidance.

They may not be doing this directly but indirectly. They can be doing this by sending their children to betting houses, some may do it by playing betting in their presence. Children always learn through observation.
