Nebraska legislators show massive support for bill to regulate skill gaming

A bill to tighten rules on skill gaming machines found in different establishments around the state is being pushed by lawmakers in Nebraska.

In addition to a $100 fee per machine that distributors must pay, the proposed bill would impose a 5% tax on the net profits of skill game machines.

The tax revenue that is generated will be distributed among different purposes, such as paying for enforcement actions, reducing property taxes, and supporting the state's tourism projects.
