Pennsylvania district attorney calls for clarity on skill gaming law

Legislators in Pennsylvania are being urged by a well-known county prosecutor to approve a regulation bill pertaining to skill games, which are slot-like machines that the casino industry maintains are illegal forms of gambling.

Due to the conclusion that the skill component of the terminals' operations exempts the apparatuses from the state's Gaming Act, Pennsylvania courts have rendered a number of decisions in favor of the skill gaming sector. Therefore, skill gaming machines and the money that goes with them cannot be seized by law enforcement.
