Although the outcome of the race for three New York downstate casino licenses is far from certain, one analyst has already predicted possibly big share price repercussions for the three competitors. Bank of America's Shaun Kelley pointed out that there are already ten entities vying for the three casino licenses for the New York City area in a note to clients on Tuesday, noting that the race started in earnest in January. Although state authorities have not yet verified it, it is widely anticipated that MGM's Empire City Casino at Yonkers Raceway and Genting's Resorts World New York in Queens will each receive two of the three New York casino licenses.
