In Paphos five individuals were arrested for illegal gambling in a cafe. The police, led by spokesman Michalis Nikolaou, raided the place catching them playing dice.

The cafe manager was also apprehended. The police confiscated 104 cards and 52 gambling chips.

All six were written up for accusations and released for future summonses. One person with previous fines paid €250 and was released.
