Regulators declare underpayment of $1.5m in gambling taxes by Borgata casino

The Borgata, the best-performing casino in Atlantic City, is accused by New Jersey gambling regulators of underpaying some of its online gambling taxes twice by obtaining nearly $15 million in credits that it was not legally entitled to.

Because of this, the casino paid $1.1 million less in taxes than it ought to have.

According to the state's Division of Gaming Enforcement, the casino was ordered to pay all taxes owed, plus an additional $1.3 million in penalties and interest.
 
If the calculation is correct , the casino should be paying the due amount so that they can come as a responsible brand and this should help them save their brand name form getting disreputed in the industry actually indeed .
