The Lima count is one of the card counting systems used in blackjack. It is a level 2 counting system that was developed by Voltaire "Lima" Rakestraw. The system assigns a point value of +1, 0 or -1 to each card in the deck, and the player keeps a running count based on the cards that are dealt. It is not as widely used as some other counting systems, such as the Hi-Lo count or the KO count, but some players find it to be effective in certain situations.
