There are new lessons on the risks of gaming and gambling.

The implementation of new classes on gambling but also gaming awareness targeting 11 to 14-year-olds has been encouraged in schools.
The Council for the Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment assembled and released them (CCEA).
The topics covered in the classes range from scratch cards and sports betting to wagering on internet video games.
A set of teachings created by the nonprofit organization Gambling with Lives is already being used in some Northern Irish schools.

This is really good news and something that more schools need to take on board in order to sensitize children on the negative effects of irresponsible gambling on them as individuals and the society as a whole
