By the end of 2024, the United States will surpass the United Kingdom as the largest online gaming market in the world in terms of gross revenue, according to a new report from the intelligence firm Vixio.
The company projects that total U.S. gross gaming revenue from iGaming will increase by 22% annually to reach $8.2 billion in 2024, according to its June 2024 U.S. iGaming Outlook report. The American market is expected to surpass the £7.5 billion U.K. market this year, helped along by the recent introduction of Rhode Island.
