What happens if Referee dies or slumps on the pitch

I have been trying to explore the possible reasons why a game always get void of postponed but I am unable to get a scenario where the officiating body have a health defect or dies. Has this happened before? And if it has, does the football match or the sport event gets stopped or postponed? Because i feel like these people are also part of the game and they deserve some respect to. What do you think?
