What if I'm out of position and someone bets after I raise?

If I raise from out of position and then the next player after me bets again, I need to decide if I should call that bet or fold. My initial inclination is I'm probably beat if someone rebets me after I raised first. However, there are times players try to steal the pot by re-raising light. It depends on history with that player and their general tendencies. So, if I was out of position for the initial bet and raise, I'm more likely to fold to a re-raise rather than call. Thoughts?
