Based on my experience playing slots for years in casinos across the country, I'd estimate that the average return-to-player percentage for slot machines generally falls between 90% to 94%. Of course different casinos and different machines will have different payout percentages, but in broad terms that 90% to 94% range is fairly typical. Some lower denomination, more basic fruit machine style slots may have a return percentage in the high 80s, while the higher denomination, multi-line video slots that I tend to prefer will usually have returns of 95% to 97% or higher to attract bigger spending players. Still, on average I've found that most slot machines run at a return-to-player rate right around 92% to 93% - meaning for every $100 wagered, the machine will payout around $92 to $93 back to players on average over the long term.

On average, slot machines have a return-to-player percentage (RTP) of around 90-95%. This means that for every $100 that is wagered on the machine, the player can expect to get back $90-$95. Of course, the actual RTP of a given machine can vary significantly, with some machines having an RTP of over 98%.

i think important for players to understand this concept as it gives them an idea of the odds of winning and the potential payout over time. However, it is important to keep in mind that the RTP is calculated over a long period and can vary significantly in the short term.
