I'd cast Robert Redford as the grizzled old pro. He's been around the circuit for decades, seen it all. Knows how to read folks like a well-worn book. Maybe get Brad Pitt as the cocky young buck who just thinks he's the next poker world champion. Put 'em at the same table on a big final table and watch the dynamics play out. The old pro knows skill and experience will prevail, but this arrogant punk's having none of it. There's your drama. Playing 'em against each other, that's how you make a poker movie folks’ll be talking about for years to come.
