Which pocket pair do you like to play in Holdem?

In Hold ‘em, you can’t beat a pair of kings in my book. Kings are strong enough to stand up to a lot of play, but they’re still just a pocket pair, so most players will overlook ‘em.
Kings have outs to the nut flush and nut straight, so if the board gets real friendly, kings can explode. But until then, they’re sneakily strong, especially on the flop.
With kings, you can bet moderate and watch the action unfold without getting overcommitted too early. You got outs to improve but you’re still in good shape if the board misses you. Pocket kings strike the perfect balance of strength and playability - that’s why they’re my go-to pocket pair! No pair beats ‘em, in my view.
