Before raising a bet, think about bluff raising. A bet raise meant to make others fold even though you do not have a winning hand is called a bluff raise. Sometimes a bluff raise can produce a good outcome. But be careful, your rivals may call your bluff raise if they think you are bluffing. Think smartly before doing a bluff raise. Consider how desperate a move it might be. Study your opponents and the cards already dealt. Then decide if a bluff raise could work to your advantage. Make sure it is worth the risk before attempting such a move.
