The strategy involves calling a bet on the first three community cards shown or "flop". You match the opponent's wager without raising. You then wait to see if more community cards are helpful to your hand. If so, you make additional bets on later rounds hoping your opponent will fold. This method conserves your chips on the flop while still keeping you in the hand. You let your opponent act first then make your move if your hand improves. This delayed aggression can induce opponents to fold winning hands, picking up the full pot.
