Soloviev Group ready to bankroll new casino in New York City

The Soloviev Group is currently in the process of preparing a proposal for an integrated casino resort on approximately six acres of vacant land located on Manhattan's East Side, just south of the United Nations headquarters. Simultaneously, Soloviev is also working on a public art installation titled "Field of Light at Freedom Plaza."

In his pursuit of establishing a casino in New York City, Soloviev has formed a partnership with Mohegan, the gaming and hospitality division operated by the Mohegan Tribe in Connecticut. The unveiled plans for a development referred to as Freedom Plaza, earlier disclosed this year, include provisions for a casino, a 1,000-room hotel, two residential towers, and a substantial Ferris wheel situated at the center of the property with a commanding view of the East River.

It is of utmost importance that these advancements harmonize with the regulations and interests of the local community, while also fostering responsible gaming practices. The conscientious functioning of a casino, coupled with its prospective contributions to the growth of the locality, can indeed serve as a beneficial addition to the city's surroundings.
