Thailand labour minister throws support behind establishment of legal casinos

The labor minister for Thailand has publicly endorsed the legalization of casinos in the country, claiming that doing so would boost employment and generate at least 50,000 jobs in five different regions.

A House committee recently concluded its study of the matter, and the government is now considering the establishment of casinos and entertainment centers.

According to him, creating a casino and starting a new city are similar in that they both draw tourists and generate employment.
