The oldest standing building in the city wins lottery money.

Colchester's oldest building, Holy Trinity Church, got a boost from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, getting £147,000.

This money will fix up the church, which dates back to the 11th Century. The church hopes to get more funds to complete its transformation.

If successful, with other grants, the total budget could reach £2.8m. People are thrilled about the news and thankful for the support.
