The gambler whose dubious wagers on collegiate baseball directly resulted in the dismissal of the head baseball coach at the University of Alabama has been identified. He is said to have made a sizable wager, or wagers, at the sportsbook in the Great American Ballpark, home of the Cincinnati Reds, on Alabama to lose against LSU on April 28. When the betting activity took place, the offender is thought to have been in close contact with the coach.
