The Dealer, when it comes to drawing the perfect poker hand in a 2-7 single draw, I look for hands that give me the best odds of improving to a strong hand while hedging my bets in case I miss my draw. Balanced starting hands include those with one or two cards of the same rank giving me a shot at a pair. I also like 2345 or 3456 suited as they will become straight on a single card draw. While hard to pass up, avoid big face cards as a starting hand unless two of a kind - they are tough to improve without catching exactly the card you need. Balance and odds are my friends at the table, dealer, now how about dealing me in?
