The Strat and Sahara gaming properties in Las Vegas will host a demonstration by members of the Culinary Union, a Las Vegas-based organization. The public demonstration coincides with ongoing talks between the two casinos' management and hospitality staff.
Union members have threatened to go on strike at the two properties if the parties are unable to reach an agreement on a tentative contract by February 2.
They are among the approximately 7,000 hospitality employees who do not currently have labor agreements at 19 casinos and hotels.
